Altogether a lovely choice in an absolutely perfect setting. Location within walking distance of everything. Also - close to all the main areas, the centre and double decker buses. Warm welcome from host. Coffee & tea making machines, fridges, and an oven available. Nothing to complain about, would definitely book again.

It's in a nice, quiet area and you can get to everything on foot. The staff was great and even threw in some free ironing, which was a nice touch! 😊

I recently stayed at a hotel in York and was pleasantly surprised by the convenient location of the property. It was just a short walk to the city walls and all the main attractions. The highlight for me was the cute little terrace, complete with heaters and fairy lights, where I could relax and unwind. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated, and I especially appreciated the large bathroom and the lovely dressing table to get ready at. it was a nice stay.

There were a few drawbacks during my stay. I didn't like the fact that people from the opposite building could look down into our main room, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable and less private.
